The Fort Worth Police Bike Support Group exists to create safer neighborhoods, and to build a better relationship between the community and law enforcement in the city of Fort Worth.

2023 Shoot for the Blue Registration is Open!

With the help of our board members and volunteers, the Fort Worth Police Bike Patrol Unit helps combat slow response times and inadequate police presence in high foot traffic areas in Fort Worth.

Watch Now: What does it take to outfit an officer?

We need your help to continue outfitting Fort Worth bike patrol officers with the training and equipment they need in order to keep out city safe.

Several years ago, folks were walking the streets feeling uneasy and unsafe.

This frustrated many of our citizens and business leaders, so we stepped in to take action.

People in Fort Worth deserve to feel safe and know that they are being protected, and should be able to see and interact with police officers.

Over the past 20 years, we have equipped and trained over 1,000 bike patrol officers and we are adding more every day.

You can now see bike patrol officers in a variety of neighborhoods including the Stockyards, Downtown, Near Southside, West 7th, and others.

You can help us continue expanding the Fort Worth Bike Patrol to more neighborhoods by
